itec group is seeking an experienced and dedicated Production Supervisor to join our client's dynamic team. As a Production Supervisor, you will play a vital role in overseeing the manufacturing process, ensuring efficient production, maintaining quality standards, and leading a team of production workers. Your strong leadership skills, attention to detail, and ability to drive continuous improvement will contribute to the success of their operations.

Responsibilities:

Leadership and Team Management:
- Supervise and provide guidance to a team of production workers, ensuring they understand their roles, responsibilities, and performance expectations.
- Train new employees on production procedures, safety protocols, and quality standards.
- Foster a positive and collaborative work environment, promoting teamwork, open communication, and employee engagement.
- Monitor employee performance, provide feedback, and address any performance issues promptly.
Production Planning and Coordination:
- Collaborate with the production planning team to develop production schedules and ensure timely completion of orders.
- Allocate resources effectively, including personnel, equipment, and materials, to meet production targets and optimize efficiency.
- Coordinate with maintenance and engineering teams to address any equipment malfunctions or technical issues that may impact production.
Quality Assurance:
- Implement and enforce quality control measures to maintain high product standards and customer satisfaction.
- Conduct regular inspections to identify any deviations from quality requirements and take corrective actions as necessary.
- Collaborate with the quality assurance team to develop and implement process improvements and corrective/preventive actions.
Safety and Compliance:
- Uphold and enforce safety protocols and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.
- Conduct regular safety inspections and promote a culture of safety awareness among the production team.
- Investigate accidents or incidents, document findings, and implement preventive measures to minimize risks.
Continuous Improvement:
- Identify opportunities for process optimization, cost reduction, and productivity improvement.
- Analyze production data, identify trends, and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.
- Implement Lean manufacturing principles and encourage a culture of continuous improvement within the production team.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
Proven experience as a Production Supervisor or similar role in a manufacturing environment.
Strong knowledge of production processes, quality control, and safety standards.
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and develop a team.
Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on quality and continuous improvement.
Effective problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
Familiarity with Lean manufacturing principles and tools is a plus.
Proficient computer skills, including MS Office and production management software.
