    Description

    Altis Recruitment & Technology is currently looking for a results-focused Account Manager to play a key role in growing our Broader Public Sector & Government Services staffing division. This role is perfect for someone passionate about building, developing and nurturing new and existing partnerships and client relationships, and could also be an exciting opportunity for anyone who has completed an education within political science or a related field.

    Your goals will be to develop and nurture loyal client relationships and to identify qualified candidates. This role will rely on your instincts to understand our clients' roles and requirements, and our candidates' career objectives, qualifications, and skills. It will call on your superb customer service skills to bring all parties together and to treat others with respect and care. This position requires business development skills on the phone, in person, and in written presentation.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Actively engaging with prospective clients and responsible for expanding our presence in the Broader Public Sector & Government Services marketplace
    • Identifying new clients and business opportunities to pursue
    • Expanding existing relationships to generate new business and grow sales
    • Preparing and delivering presentations on staffing services
    • Operating from a service mindset; listening to client issues and identifying staffing solutions
    • Negotiating and closing deals; handling complaints or objections
    • Retaining clients by providing superior customer service and staffing support
    • Cross selling to identify opportunities for other divisions
    • Marketing strong candidate resources based on client needs
    • Resolving any issues that arise throughout the placement process
    • Conducting after placement service calls and visits with both candidates and clients
    • Visiting top clients on a quarterly basis
    • Adhering to our high level of service standards and delivery
    • Preparing and reporting on sales goals
    • Participating in networking events and conferences on behalf of the company

    Qualifications & Experience

    Must have:

    • 2+ years of direct experience working within sales, business development, account management or customer service
    • Fluently bilingual in English and French (verbal and written)
    • Passion for creating and fostering new relationships
    • You are a driven professional who is self-motivated for achieving and exceeding individual and team goals
    • Focused on driving client/candidate success and delivering the ultimate experience
    • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
    • Ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a fast-paced environment while meeting tight deadlines
    • Comfortable with and excited by the idea of cold outreach
    • You are a team player who loves to work collaboratively
    • Natural curiosity about people, their backgrounds and experience
    • Technical aptitude in the use of business software

    Nice to have:

    • Completed education within political science considered a strong asset
    • Previous staffing industry experience considered a strong asset
