    Company description

    We are a community practice. Each year we care for upwards of 4,500 patients and administer approximately 35,000 treatments through our broad range of Physiotherapy and complementary practices. Though each of our patients is different, we can confidently claim that there are few (if any) physical therapies or performance challenges that we haven't encountered and successfully pursued to the best possible outcome.

    Just like our team-treat model at Parkway, we work and act as a team and family. We believe that a work-play balance is key to relationship building, thus creating a cohesive work atmosphere. All of us at Parkway Physiotherapy believe that having fun is one of the most important things, and we want our patients to be able to feel that when they arrive at our clinics. Our Chief of Culture, at each clinical location will encourage one another to participate in team bonding activities, weekly emails to discuss wins amongst the team, and social get-togethers to bring a sense of "family" to our forever growing team at Parkway Physiotherapy & Performance Centre.

    Do you have a passion for working in Customer Service? Are you looking to be a part of a team that is always having fun, as well as learn new skills to help you grow?

    Parkway Physiotherapy & Performance Centre, located in the Westshore, is seeking friendly, empathetic, and energetic people to join our front desk team in a part-time position. You must be able to manage a VERY fast-paced environment while keeping your cool We are looking for people to join our fun-loving Admin team part-time.

    Hours may vary between Monday - Friday 6:30 a.m. - 7:30 p.m., so flexibility is required in this area. At this point in time, we can offer approximately 12-20 hours per week, with the possibility of more hours for vacation/sick coverage and the ability to grow within the company.

    Reception duties and responsibilities include:
    - greeting clients, processing payments, and direct billing to extended benefit plans.
    - answering phones and booking clients, which will require a good understanding of the types of services we offer.
    - general clinic maintenance, such as laundry and room cleaning.
    Candidates must be quick learners, and have superstar customer service skills.

    Salary: $18.00/hour
    Health care spending account

    Job Types: Part-time, Permanent, Casual

    Pay: $18.00 per hour

    Schedule:

    • Day shift
    • Monday to Friday
    • Night shift
    • On call

    Education:

    • Secondary School (preferred)

    Experience:

    • Customer service: 2 years (preferred)
    • receptionist: 1 year (preferred)
