Manager, Inventory Optimization , the Senior Analyst, Inventory Optimization & Business Intelligence will support in developing and maintaining McKesson Canada's inventory policy and inventory parameter strategy, as well as leverage advanced analytics models to unlock benefits for the Procurement Operations team.

They will play a key role in optimizing inventory across the network, working on strategic projects related to inventory management, and managing supply chain parameters, all while working cross-functionally with Demand and Supply Planning, Inbound Logistics, Supplier Performance, Operations and Strategic Procurement teams.

We are seeking an experienced senior analyst with extensive knowledge of end-to-end supply chain processes, inventory management and supply chain parameter management, as well as experience analyzing, modeling, and interpreting complex supply chain data.

Inventory Strategy and Planning (40%)
Develop and maintain McKesson Canada's inventory policy and inventory parameter strategy
Support sharing strategy, knowledge and insights with other members of the Procurement Operations team
Monitor and report on key performance indicators to track progress against objectives
Collaborate with Supply & Demand Planning, Operations, and Strategic Procurement teams to share periodic updates and obtain key insights to support ongoing analysis
Act as subject matter expert (SME) for the Supply Planning team with respect to JDA Fulfillment
Manage inventory and adjusts parameters in the system to meet service level and inventory targets.

Build various simulation models to determine optimized inventory levels and increase cash flow, while maintaining high service levels for our customers.

Strategic Projects (30%)
Support the execution of ongoing inventory optimization projects
Identify and implement process improvements to increase inventory management efficiency
Contribute to the success of ongoing strategic projects related to the optimization of JDA parameters
Contribute to other strategic and/or continuous improvement projects in Procurement Operations
Support procurement operations with ad-hoc analyses related to JDA parameters and inventory
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify areas of opportunity to leverage automation and/or analytics with the goal of improving processes for the business
Advanced Analytics, Data Modeling and Process Automation (25%)
Leverage advanced analytics models to unlock benefits for the Procurement Operations team
Analyze, model and interpret supply chain data to provide insights and recommendations on upcoming supply chain risks
Periodically update inventory parameters in JDA based on optimization model results and leverage automation to increase efficiency and accuracy of parameters
Identify opportunities to leverage analytics and automation and develop other analytical tools and/or models to support business decisions related to inventory optimization and procurement operations
Support the maintenance of McKesson Canada's inventory policy documentation
Collaborate with the Analyst, Supply Chain Data Intelligence and the Master Data Management team to support activities related to data integrity
Participate in training sessions and act as go-to person for Alteryx-related topics
Occasional backfill/support with other procurement operations activities
Acts as a McKesson ambassador of corporate values
Working Experience
Minimum 5 years of experience in Supply Chain Planning / Supply Chain Analytics
Retail/Wholesale/Life Sciences/Pharmaceuticals experience an asset
Project management experience is an asset
Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain, Operations, Business Analytics or equivalent.
Master's degree in Business or Analytics is an asset
Strong analytical skills with proven experience in advanced data analysis and modelling, as well as drawing valuable insights from complex data sets
Good knowledge of data management (warehousing, virtualization, modelling, extraction and manipulation of real-time data flows)
Good knowledge of the various data analysis tools (Alteryx, Machine Learning, Python and R languages)
Perfectly bilingual, both written and spoken
Solid supply chain, inventory management and general business acumen
Technical Skills
Experience building data models in Alteryx Designer

Formation:
Baccalauréat en chaine d'approvisionnement , analyse d'affaires , ou équivalent.
Une maîtrise en affaire s ou en intelligence des données est un atout.

Solides compétences analytiques avec une expérience éprouvée en analyse avancée de données et modélisation, ainsi qu'en tirant des conclusions clés de données complexes.

Bonne connaissance de la gestion des données (entreposage, virtualisation, modélisation, extraction et manipulation de flux de données en temps réel).

Bonne connaissance des différents outils d'analyse de données ( Alteryx , langages Python ou R).
