    Description

    Finance Analyst - Permanent Full-Time

    Overview:

    The Finance Analyst will support various financial processes in the Finance Department, including payroll, accounts receivable, accounts payable, and general accounting transactions. This role is ideal for someone eager to learn and contribute to the financial operations of Runnymede Healthcare Centre.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Reconcile assigned General Ledger accounts.
    • Ensure accuracy of the Accounts Receivable sub-ledger by monitoring aged accounts, following up on overdue payments, and processing necessary write-offs.
    • Support payroll processes and taxes payable reconciliation.
    • Assist with Payroll activities such as processing timecards.
    • Prepare accounting and financial analysis using Excel.
    • Contribute to various projects including EFT and accounting process enhancements.
    • Provide coverage for Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable tasks when needed.
    • Handle month-end activities like accruals and prepaid entries.
    • Perform bank account reconciliations and balance sheet accounts reconciliations.
    • Participate in interim and yearly audit processes.
    • Manage capital projects reporting and reconciliation.
    • Ensure accuracy in invoice processing and investigate discrepancies.
    • Undertake additional responsibilities as per departmental requirements.

    Qualifications and Experience:

    • CPA designation
    • Minimum of two (2) years of work experience, preferably in a healthcare environment
    • Advanced skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and HRIS
    • Knowledge of non-profit financial accounting principles
    • Strong analytical, planning, and organizational abilities
    • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
    • Ability to work well in a team
