    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Actalent is seeking a DevOps Engineer in Ottawa for a 12 month contract within the telecommunication industry.

    Description:

    Seeking DevOps engineer to work in FPGA team to streamline FPGA development through DevOps, working within a hardware focused team but reporting up to a Software senior manager. Seeking open minded candidates and someone willing to explore this new DevOps cycle and CI/CD, Jenkins, & GitHub to development their teams DevOps infrastructure from scratch. DevOps candidate should make sure build system is working with their hardware and follow up on issues and scripting while maintaining a high level of documentation and collaboration among teams.

    Top Skills Details:

    Seeking a candidate with 3-7 years building out DevOps infrastructure system with the following skills:

  • Strong in scripting (Python, Perl, Bash, Shell)
  • Jenkins pipeline
  • Groovy scripts
  • Technical Documentation

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications:

  • Hardware/FPGA/Electrical professional/academic background.
  • DevOps Infrastructure building experience.

    • Experience Level:

    Intermediate Level

    Work Location:

    3x a week on-site in Ottawa, ON.
