    Do you have technical expertise with deploying web applications and services in Linux cloud environments? Do you enjoy scripting, automation, writing plugins, working with deployment management tools, logging, monitoring and reporting tools, and generally striving for best practices and state of the art?

    If yes, then we are looking for an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer to be actively involved in leading the DevOps design, development, and deployment of unique, highly secure, and highly scalable, cloud services at the cutting edge of the Identity and Access Management space.

    Axiad is a fast-growing Cloud Service Provider focused on cybersecurity - specifically on the future of the critically important area of Identity and Access Management (IAM).

    Design and implement the automation of every aspect of CI/CD pipelines and security programs
    develop automation to rapidly and safely deploy and manage complex cloud application infrastructures at scale
    Operate the platform with a constant eye toward continuous improvement of automation, self-healing, reliability, scalability, and security
    Strong Linux administration experience with a focus on web infrastructure (Apache/Nginx/HAProxy/Tomcat), needs of custom applications, and deployment and scaling of databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL, MySQL, NoSQL in cloud managed form)
    Proven experience leveraging automation and scripting to automate building, deployment, monitoring, and maintenance of highly secure and scalable cloud services (e.g. Ansible, Git, Python, Groovy, Docker, Kubernetes, Nagios, Splunk, ELK, Grafana, Datadog).
    Solid experience with AWS technologies such as EC2, RDS, S3, CloudFormation, ELB/ASG, or equivalent cloud technologies and Kubernetes equivalents
    Understanding of application clustering/load balancing concepts and technologies and it's impacts on application deployment
    Experience with CI and CD pipeline (e.g. Jenkins), package management, and how it relates to containers, image management and deployment
    A passion for building and deploying scalable and reliable cloud services
    Need to be Canadian Citizen or Canadian Permanent Resident
    Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science (or higher), minimum of 7 years of relevant AWS or Azure experience with overall 10+ years of development / infrastructure experience
    Attention to detail, self-motivated, creative and flexible
    Experience with code reviews and test coverage to evaluate and communicate quality information with the team
    Experience in security best practices, host and network intrusion detection, logging and monitoring (e.g. Experience in leading and mentoring devops engineers
    Experience in security policy and certifications like SOC2, FedRAMP etc.
