    Job Summary


    The Senior Manager, Human Resources, Transportation West and Network Operations is responsible for leading a HRBP team and the strategic business partner to Senior Management in the Transportation West and Network Operations functions.

    The role oversees all aspects of human resources and serves as a coach to members of the team.


    Responsibilities Include:

    • Drive business results with Executives by acting as an active and influential trusted business advisor
    • Implement HR initiatives and programs that effectively support overall company strategy
    • Support functions in executing key HR processes, including recruiting, performance management, succession planning and compensation
    • Communicate policy and program changes and ensure successful roll-out of all HR programs
    • Partner with business leaders to drive employee engagement and Diversity, Equity and Inclusion initiatives
    • Drive organizational design and structure in functions being transformed and ensure right roles and talent are in place to fulfill transformation objectives

    The Qualified Candidate will have:

    • Bachelor's degree in human resources or relevant discipline
    • 10+ years of HR experience that include the following:
    • 3+ years of experience leading, supervising and coaching a team
    • Ability to travel throughout Canada and USA
    • Human Resources Certification (CRHA) or equivalent
    • Bilingual both written and verbal (English, French)
    • Considered as an asset.

    Technical Skills/Knowledge

    • Expertise in strategic planning, complex problem resolution and general management
    • Excellent knowledge of employment legislation and regulations
    • Fully bilingual in both English and French will be considered as an asset
