This is an excellent opportunity for post-secondary students to gain exposure to the insurance industry. We are currently looking for summer interns to join our health and safety team.Aviva realizes the importance of creating internships as a means to develop talent to meet future requirements for entry-level insurance roles.
Support the implementation of the health and safety management systemPartnering with key stakeholders in developing site H&S programs
Support creation of training materials and conduct H&S training
Participate in investigations and risk assessments
Contribute to the development of risk mitigation and crisis management strategies
Demonstrate our Aviva :
Care, Commitment, Community and Confidence
Enrollment in a Bachelor's degree program required, , Occupational Health and Safety, Human Resources, Business Administration, Public Safety, Environmental Science, Health Science , Sports Medicine or a related field
Proficient with various computer programs, including MS Word, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint
Interest in HSE or business and the demonstrated ability to learn and grow
