    HDR is currently looking for a Senior Transportation Engineer to join our growing Transportation Planning group in British Columbia, to support our portfolio of exciting transportation planning projects, including bus speed and reliability program management, corridor studies, zero emissions mobility transition planning, maintenance and storage facility planning, preliminary design, and more.

    In the role of Senior Transportation Engineer, we'll count on you to:
    Direct and coordinate work of single or multidiscipline teams throughout the project's lifecycle (from development and initiation to close-out)
    Responsible for all aspects of complex small to medium projects or routine large projects
    Produce and coordinate several small to medium projects concurrently
    Coordinate staffing and workload through entire project life cycle, and ensure completion of deliverables on schedule
    Track financial aspects of projects, and coordinate and adjust work effort with team to ensure that work is completed within parameters of agreed-to budget and schedule
    Work with the Accounting, Operational and Business leadership for periodic project reviews
    Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Planning, or equivalent
    Ability to multitask while working on many projects at once
    Knowledge and experience in transit planning, statistical data analysis, multi-modal road design, bus priority, and project management
    Considerable experience working with local municipalities and Provincial agencies in British Columbia
    In-depth experience in traffic engineering and transportation planning software (e.g. In-depth experience in design software (i.e. AutoCAD, MicroStation, or other design packages).
