    In this role you will get to:
    • Adhere to all corporate Safety Policies, guidelines, and procedures, including attending Branch Monthly meetings and following customer-established protocols. Alert the Supervisor or Manager to any observed or experienced unsafe practices.
    • Conduct inspections, maintenance, and repairs on electric overhead traveling cranes and hoists at various customer sites as instructed. Be on standby as part of the service office rotation, offering after-hours service when necessary.

    • Perform on-site troubleshooting of electrical, mechanical, structural, and electronic issues to identify causes of equipment malfunctions and determine necessary repairs using visual inspections, test procedures, and appropriate testing equipment.

    • Carry out a comprehensive post-repair assessment before finalizing the work, ensuring that all essential safety features are operational, or indicating any deficiencies by attaching a deficiency tag to the crane.

    • Report findings and provide corrective suggestions during the SAFETY REVIEW to the customer, including issuing a written 'Safety Notification' for any observed or known safety issues, when applicable.

    Confirm the customer's decision regarding repair services and document the actions required to complete the repairs.
    • Engage with the customer on all repair and safety-related matters, addressing recommendations during the VISIT REVIEW to assist the customer in enhancing their SAFETY &

    PRODUCTIVITY before departing the site. Identify items necessitating quotations.

    • Complete and deliver accurate electronic documentation using the designated company digital tools for each service, obtaining the customer's acceptance and signature.

    • Familiarize yourself with and adhere to all relevant codes or regulations such as CSA, OSHA, ANSI, CMAA, HMI, and other industry-related standards. Regularly update and refresh your knowledge in these areas.

    • Prepare Work Packages and other necessary documents in a professional, precise, legible, and timely manner, following established guidelines for submission.

    Sustain regular communication with the service office and assigned Coordinator following standard procedures.
    • Maintain all company-provided equipment, vehicles, and assets in safe, working order. Operate tools, equipment, and vehicles responsibly and safely. Alert the supervisor to any equipment deficiencies requiring resolution.
    • Ensure the service vehicle is stocked with forms, literature, inventory, and essential materials. Document material usage or sales to customers as required.
    • Adhere to all prescribed safety protocols and procedures, including those mandated by the customer. Participate in monthly safety meetings.
    • Fulfill any additional responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.


    Your Skills and Qualifications:
    • Associate degree in industrial or electrical/mechanical technology in a related field or equivalent experience.


    EXPERIENCE:
    • Minimum of 1 year or as per Provincial Legislative requirements and CSA standards.


    OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
    • Must possess and sustain a clean driving record, including a valid driver's license. Physical fitness and willingness to work at heights, climb ladders, and walkways is essential. Proficiency in computer skills and written communication is required.
