    About the Job:
    Are you ready to take on the role of Senior Legal Counsel at Central 1? In this position, you'll play a crucial part in the legal team, working closely with the General Counsel to provide top-tier legal services across various business functions. Your expertise in areas such as IP law, employment law, and digital initiatives will be essential in driving legal strategies and ensuring compliance.

    Job Summary:
    As the Senior Legal Counsel at Central 1, you will lead legal projects, provide legal advice on various matters, and ensure compliance with regulations. Your role will involve handling transactions, supporting product development, and managing legal projects.

    What you'll be doing:
    • Provide legal services to business lines and functions
    • Act as lead in-house lawyer on transactions
    • Offer legal support for new products and services
    • Advise on contractual arrangements and contract interpretation
    • Manage legal projects and external counsel
    • Develop a thorough knowledge of Central 1's products
    • Support executive management team
    • Manage litigation and supervise other team members
    What you'll have:
    • Minimum 8 years of relevant experience
    • Experience in drafting agreements and digital initiatives
    • Knowledge of financial institution regulation
    • Membership in good standing with the Law Society
    • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
    • Ability to work independently and collaboratively
    • Organizational and client service skills
    Salary Range: $150,000-$165,000
