    Family Practice Opportunity In Canada.

    Edgewater Medical clinic represents a group of family physicians and specialists practicing at City center location in Edmonton. We offer a multi-disciplinary community-based clinic environment for residents of Edmonton, Alberta's capital. A short distance from the Rocky Mountains, Edmonton has access to the most stunning mountain scenery and easily accessible alpine experience in the planet. A city, of one million, Edmonton offers a myriad of top-rated recreational and cultural programs in modern venues. Superior public and private schools, universities, colleges and technical institutes guarantee a top-notch education for any family.

    We are looking to add to our team individuals who enjoy providing full time family services. If you enjoy the challenge of a fast-paced walk-in environment and are also dedicated to unhurried, tradition appointment-based intervals for family practice patients, you will feel right at home at our Clinic.

    Physicians in Alberta are remunerated on a fee for service basis and enjoy no limits on income potential. Our physician workload typically translates into 25-50 daily patient encounters. The average salary of a full time GP (44 hours a week) is between $300,000 - $550,000 depending on the number of patients seen.

    Our clinics are open 7 days a week, 8:30AM -7:00PM Monday-Friday and 10:00AM to 5:00 PM on weekends. We value physicians who are more flexible with their schedules and are willing to accommodate a fast-paced environment.

    With a four-year contract, Edgewater will cover costs of relocation, flight fair, first three months of accommodation and transportation, and all Medical Licensing costs (including an assessment costing $35,000). Before arriving to Canada, IMG's will need to complete the Canadian Medical Evaluation Exam (MCCEE). Upon successful completion, a potential candidate will then be sponsored by Edgewater Medical Clinic and undergo a three month supervised assessment to obtain a practice license.
