    Join our dynamic team as a QA Engineer and become a vital force in propelling our product to new heights We're seeking an ambitious individual who thrives on the challenge of manual testing, possesses a knack for crafting innovative automated tests, and is eager to revolutionize our QA processes. As a pivotal member of our team, you'll collaborate closely with our talented developers, forging strong partnerships to ensure seamless integration of testing strategies throughout the development lifecycle. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our product while spearheading initiatives to streamline and enhance our testing methodologies.     WHAT YOU'LL BE DOING:


    • Collaborate with the team to outline and document required test cases


    • Work closely with cross-functional teams to develop and customize automated Functional, API, Acceptance, Unit, and Load tests


    • Take the lead in managing the lifecycle of bugs and issues.


    • Communicate test results and progress to stakeholders and team members


    • Lead processes and drive new initiatives forward

    WHAT YOU BRING TO US:


    • 3+ years of experience testing APIs, JS applications, and single-page applications (SPAs)


    • 3+ years of experience with Selenium or Appium, Playwright, and Test Automation


    • BSc in Computer Science or BASc in Computer/Software Engineering, or a post-secondary diploma/certificate of two years in computing and software development, or relevant experience


    • Involvement in the shipping of at least 2+ web applications


    • Proactive team player with strong communication skills, collaborating effectively with QA and Developers


    • Take ownership of features and ensure high-priority bugs are promptly addressed for optimal end-user experience


    • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills


    • Experience with Agile and Scrum processes

    BONUSES:


    • Experience working with other mobile development platforms (iOS, Android, Windows, etc


    • Experience working with backend technologies including LAMP, MySQL/MariaDB, NodeJS, and GraphQL/ElasticSearch


    • Experience working with cloud providers like AWS and GCP and containerized applications


    • Experience with analyzing and optimizing page performance and load times


    • Interest and/or experience in security, specifically with penetration testing
