    Description

    Business Analyst – CFA

    Mississauga, ON (Office attendance from Day 1 - Hybrid Mode 3x per week)

    Term: Long Term Contract

    JD:

    The ideal candidate should have a minimum of 8+ years of experience in business analysis, with a focus on capital markets. The candidate should also have expertise in SQL and hold a CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification.

    Responsibilities:

    · Conduct thorough analysis of business processes, systems, and data within the capital or fixed markets domain.

    · Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into functional specifications and user stories.

    · Perform data analysis and create detailed reports to support decision-making processes.

    · Identify process improvement opportunities and propose solutions to enhance operational efficiency.

    · Work closely with development teams to ensure accurate implementation of business requirements.

    · Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define and execute project plans.

    Requirements:

    · CFA (Chartered Financial Analyst) certification is required.

    · Minimum of 6 years of experience as a Business Analyst in the capital or fixed markets industry.

    · Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field.

    · Strong knowledge of capital markets products, including equities, fixed income, derivatives, and investment banking.

    · Proficiency in SQL for data analysis and querying.

    · Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

    · Experience with Agile methodologies and tools is a plus.

    · Knowledge of financial regulations and compliance requirements is desirable.
