- Provide thought leadership across our Network and Cloud Infrastructure space.
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather the business and technical requirements needed to design and implement cost-effective solutions.
- Analyze business and technical requirements to develop solutions and implementation strategies.
- Develop Solution blueprint and participate in new technology evaluation, as required, to address business requirements.
- Ask powerful questions, create awareness, and guide individuals and groups in exploring options.
- Lead effective team discussions and contribute to design sessions, and support the community of network subject matter experts.
- Manage technical planning, operations and delivery spanning multiple systems and technologies.
- Provide escalation support and lead the resolution of complex production issues spanning multiple systems and technologies.
- Develop standards, patterns, and practices to improve the network services.
- Develop and maintain service SLAs and metrics for all networking systems and dependent components.
- Support the maturity of HOOPP's network roadmaps, standards, and practices, in collaboration with the Product Owner, Portfolio Lead and Portfolio architect.
- Participate in the design and test DR/BCP solutions in collaboration with our PMO&G Groups
- Demonstrate innovations, and support knowledge-sharing across other IT Agile teams.
- Help support and sustain technology and process continuous improvements.
- Remain current on new features and emerging developments in the networking space.
- Regularly write wiki articles and participate in issue and team retrospectives.
- Provide guidance and knowledge to team members, and promote efficiency, productivity.
- Identify repetitive tasks and build tools / processes for automation.
- Partner with the dev ops team to architect and design network and security improvements in public and private cloud
- Support and build network features and enhancements.
- Collaborate with and Manage vendors.
- Guide the team on agile matters in collaboration with our Agile coaches, lead Scrum practices, such as daily standups, backlog refinement, planning and sprint retrospectives.
- Cover for the IT4E Manager\Product Owner as a trusted partner.
- Participate in the off-hours On-Call rotation. Our off-hours support volume is light, and we put in the effort to keep it that way.
- Our technology stack
- Multi-vendor networking and security stack with security as its core focus (Cisco Routing and Switching, Cisco ISE, DNA Center, Wi-Fi, Palo Alto Firewall and Panorama, F5 APM, SD-WAN, etc.)

- Hyperconverged infrastructure for on premise storage and compute (Nutanix and VMWare)
- Infrastructure as a Code (Ansible, Terraform)

- DevOps Pipelines
- Strong IT professional who is self-motivated, with deep analytic and problem-solving skills
- Diploma or Degree in Computer Science or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- Minimum of 10+ years of operations and project experience in progressively more senior roles across:
- Network (Cisco, AI Operations, Wi-Fi, ISE, Routing and Switching, WAN)
- IT Infrastructure (Datacenter and Hyper-Converged Infrastructure)
- Cloud (IaaS, PaaS [Azure, AWS. GCP])
- Security Operations (Firewall, Remote Access, Network Access, Intrusion Prevention)
- Hold relevant industry certifications.
- 3+ years as an architect, consultant, senior manager, or similar role
- Experience in leading delivery on major features in a complex environment
- A thought-leader in the infrastructure space who can clearly express ideas, concepts, and architecture to all levels in the team and to stakeholders with practical hands-on expertise.
- Strong interpersonal, communication and presentation skills, with an ability to take end-to-end ownership and drive an outcome.
- Strong knowledge of Agile practices such as Scrum or Kanban, MVP, etc.

Our IT Corporate Solutions Group (CSG) is looking for an experienced individual who can fill a permanent, fulltime Solutions Architect (Network & Cloud Infrastructure) on our IT for Enterprise team. You will join a team of engineers who are passionate about improving their systems and providing a great service to our internal stakeholders.
In this hands-on role as Solutions Architect you will play multiple roles, with your in-depth knowledge and experience you will be a trusted partner to the team's Sr. Manager. Partnering with the Product Owner you will bring thought leadership, evaluating and recommending improvements to our solutions.
You will utilize your extensive in-depth knowledge, skills and practices, incident & project management skills to enhance our operational excellence and delivery projects. We use Agile and lean principles to work fast, deliver high quality results, and promote innovation and efficiency.
