    Description de l'emploi

    Sous la responsabilité d'Antoine Bernier, scientifique principal en R&D audio, le scientifique R&D audio est chargé d'effectuer des mesures acoustiques, de collecter des données et de participer aux processus de conception relatifs à l'acoustique des casques et aux algorithmes de traitement des signaux audio.

    Le poste consiste à relever des défis spécifiques liés au traitement des signaux audio et à la simulation acoustique, dont la résolution nécessite des expériences approfondies et une bonne compréhension du sujet. En particulier, le candidat retenu devra étudier la littérature sur le sujet, construire des environnements de test dans MATLAB, effectuer la collecte de données, l'analyse des données audio et des études d'utilisateurs, et développer des applications audio sur MATLAB, Python et C++.

    Le candidat retenu doit être soucieux du détail, organisé. et avoir de bonnes connaissances en matière de traitement des signaux.

    Il s'agit d'un rôle dynamique qui nécessitera la capacité de collaborer pour développer et intégrer de multiples flux de développement dans des produits commercialement viables.

    Fonctions et responsabilités

    • Caractériser les signaux audio à l'aide de la FFT, des spectrogrammes, de la séparation des transitoires, de l'analyse des formants, de l'extraction d'enveloppe, etc.

    • Concevoir et utiliser des processus d'essais acoustiques pour extraire la réponse en fréquence, la gamme dynamique.
    • Réaliser un processus de simulation acoustique, avec l'aide du scientifique principal en R&D audio, afin de prévoir la réponse en fréquence des casques.

    • Participer à la conception et à la caractérisation de divers algorithmes audio.

    • Résumer, documenter et communiquer les résultats, les solutions et les stratégies.

    • Participer à la collecte de données (en laboratoire et sur le terrain), élaborer des protocoles d'expérience, organiser des études sur les utilisateurs.

    Formation et expérience professionnelle

    • Ingénierie électrique, informatique, technologie audio/musicale ou autre domaine connexe

    • Master avec thèse/cours en technologie audio

    • Diplôme de bachelier avec un stage et des projets pertinents dans le domaine de la recherche audio.

    Connaissances, compétences et aptitudes minimales :

    • Connaissance des concepts DSP tels que l'analyse temps-fréquence, l'analyse et la synthèse FFT et expertise dans un ou plusieurs des domaines suivants : débruitage, égaliseurs dynamiques, limiteurs/maximiseurs, compresseurs, annulation active du bruit, contrôle de la rétroaction, annulation de l'écho, filtrage adaptatif.

    • Familiarité avec MATLAB, Python ou C++.

    • Connaissance de l'utilisation de DAW tels que Audacity et Reaper.

    • Expérience de l'utilisation d'équipements de sonorisation et d'enregistrement tels que les microphones, les interfaces audio, les haut-parleurs et les consoles de mixage numériques.

    • Expérience de l'automatisation et des flux de travail efficaces pour l'analyse et le traitement des données audio

    • Connaissance de base de l'analyse statistique.

    • Connaissance de base des circuits analogiques et de la simulation de circuits de base.

    Compétences supplémentaires :

    • Compétences écrites et orales efficaces en français et en anglais.

    • Sens des relations humaines et de la communication : capacité à accepter des instructions, à fournir et à recevoir un retour d'information constructif.

    • Solides aptitudes techniques : faire preuve d'une approche structurée et orientée vers les détails.

    • Excellentes capacités d'analyse et de résolution de problèmes .

    • Solides compétences en matière de gestion du temps et d'organisation ; capacité à gérer des tâches multiples, à être ponctuel et à respecter les délais.

    • Capacité à travailler de manière autonome et en collaboration au sein d'équipes multidisciplinaires .
