    Description
    YOUR ROLE IN OUR TEAM

    The Sales Director is responsible for managing the assigned territory, coordinating company strategies, and overseeing all business aspects within that territory. Working closely with administrative representatives, strategic development, and production teams to achieve organizational goals.

    THE CHALLENGES WE HAVE FOR YOU

    • Supervising the activities of technicians in the region, such as site visits, customer support, and administration of training programs in collaboration with SOPREMA's Technical Department
    • Implementing key plans to achieve SOPREMA's objectives, including the regional strategic plan, annual business plan, and budgets
    • Determining expected sales volume through the annual budget based on market size and growth potential
    • Communicating product and system-related issues to the Technical Department and development needs to the Strategic Development Department
    • Providing recommendations for staffing and strategic direction within the territory
    • Completing tasks as directed by the Sales Vice President responsible for the region

    THE SKILLS WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    Your Education
    • Bachelor of Business Administration or Engineering
    • Management training (MBA is a plus)

    Your Knowledge
    • Thorough understanding of construction and territorial industry markets
    • Knowledge of manufacturing and distribution methods
    • Strong management and marketing judgment
    • Leadership, mentoring, and team-building skills
    • Excellent presentation, sales, and negotiation skills
    • Good writing, listening, and questioning abilities
    • Imaginative, adaptable, flexible with openness to change
    • Strong organizational, project management, and time management skills
    • Bilingual in French and English

    WORKING CONDITIONS

    • Regular travel within Canada and abroad
    • Attendance at evening and weekend meetings
    • Irregular work schedule as needed

    PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

    The Sales Director may occasionally visit sites, descend into trenches or tunnels, and climb ladders to access roofs.
