Responsibilities:

Act as project manager, structural lead, and designer for engineering tasks
Conduct transportation structural inspections and supervise biennial (OSIM) inspection tasks
Lead site visits for information gathering and review pre-construction and post-construction activities
Coordinate with clients and various disciplines for project execution
Analyze and design transportation structures according to applicable standards
Provide guidance to project teams, review deliverables, and prepare technical reports
Offer recommendations on maintenance, repair, and rehabilitation of structures
Participate in business development by liaising with clients and preparing proposals
Attend team meetings and ensure project requirements are met within set parameters
Flexible availability for work hours and travel is expected
Complete health and safety documentation as required

Qualifications:

BASc or B.Eng. in civil/structural engineering with a focus on bridge engineering
P. Eng. designation and extensive experience in leading transportation structure projects
RAQS eligible for bridge engineering inspections
Proficiency in various inspection and design software
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Experience in project management and team supervision
Detail-oriented with a proactive attitude towards work
