Job summaryWe are currently looking for an enthusiastic Commercial Sales Manager for USA & CA based in Toronto who is passionate about technology, comfortable working on the phone and ready for a new challenge.
You will be responsible for developing, maintaining and managing sales opportunities for Leica Geosystems Reality Capture solutions within existing and future market segments.
The purpose of the position is to drive sales on a new customer base as well as targeting existing customers groups to achieve quarterly quotas.
You will be involved also with lead generation, prospecting and development of new sales strategies and channel partners. An understanding of the Architecture, Engineering, and Construction industry would be an advantage.This is a phone-based role with an hybrid office presence work hours and it is not required any specific availability to travel.
It is expected you to collaborate with all key stakeholders including marketing colleagues, Product Management and external partners.You will be supported by an established sales infrastructure as well as by technical product experts in the Reality Capture Division.
Duties and ResponsibilitiesDrive growth in sales of Leica Geosystems Solutions within existing and future market segmentsGenerate sales revenue through calling, event management, social media, growing current accounts, and channel partnersManage quarterly sales forecastInitiates telephone calls to current customers and potential customers to ensure all opportunities are effectively progressedUnderstand customer needs and act as point of contact while providing support to potential customers during the decision phaseUtilize all available resources cooperating with Commercial Account Management, outside sales reps, Marketing, external partners and others to advance and close salesDevelop "out of the box" sales strategies and models to generate new sales opportunitiesSupport marketing activities including but not limited to campaigns and exhibitionsWork with salesforce maintaining database accuracy and information to develop sales campaignsOther tasks and projects to be added on an as-needed basis Desired Background and skills5-6 years B2B Sales/Inside Sales experienceConfident and comfortable working on the phoneUnderstanding of AEC industry would be an advantageKnowledge in laser scanning/LIDAR technologies (preferred)BA/BS degree or equivalentProficient in MS Office Suite, Google Calendar/Docs and CRM systems preferably SalesforceNative or perfectly fluent in EnglishAdditional languages would be an advantageExcellent sales, presentation and communication skills are a mustHighly organized, strong attention to detail and effective follow throughPersonal AttributesSales and target oriented, well organized, and reliableAbility to be a self-starter and very resourcefulAble to think creatively, resolve challenges and leverage limitationsEffective problem solver with ability to self-managePro-active, professional and adept at multi-taskingTeam playerCustomer and solution oriented What we can offer youWe believe that our employees are our biggest asset.
