    Position Summary

    We are looking for a talented Associate Applications Engineer to play a fundamental role in achieving our ambitious customer acquisition, support, and revenue growth objectives at our Vaughan office.

    Responsibilities and Duties

  • Provides product, application, service, and engineering information by answering questions and requests.
  • Discuss technical applications with outside sales to help determine solutions for customers.
  • Recommends products and solutions to customers based on their application requirement.
  • In consultation with the Area Sales Managers, develops and maintains customer plans for the assigned territory based on target customers, key customers, and "dream" customers.
  • Maintains records of customer communications and contact information in a Customer Relationship Management - CRM.
  • Explores new market segments and product applications with a view to expanding the Company's traditional client base.
  • Works closely with the sales team to promptly follow-up on all sales leads.
  • Manages customer relationships by communicating with clients to understand, anticipate and meet their needs.

  • High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skills.
  • Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills.
  • Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to multi-task.

    • Preferred

  • Engineering Degree or equivalent from a two-year college or technical school preferred.

    • Permanent full-time position
