    Our Records and Information Management team develops compliant records and archive management frameworks and practices designed to enhance business process, strengthen decision making, and preserve corporate memory. Our team of dedicated and responsive information professionals work collaboratively with business partners to help them perform their work effectively and efficiently by ensuring recorded information is accurate, reliable and usable throughout its lifecycle.

    As the Senior RIM Consultant, you will partner with management to evolve information management practices through enterprise-focused innovative solutioning and practice management strategies. You will enable business areas to execute compliant and reliable recordkeeping practices. You will independently direct and facilitate RIM-initiated projects that are enterprise in nature and involve multiple stakeholders, diverse technologies, and modern techniques for managing and responsibly deleting information.

    How you will create impact:

  • Develop, gain approval, and execute RIM Program strategic solutions, incorporating creative recommendations, managing stakeholder relationships, identifying, and negotiating program resources.
  • Develop business case proposals/submissions, project scope and project plans, working with stakeholders to define the project, identify potential risks, anticipate issues, and develop specific plans to mitigate or address concerns.
  • Provide project leadership and implementation support for large-scale enterprise information management solutions that are typically complex and highly specialized.
  • Analyze information and develop a detailed project plan, schedule, target dates, resource plan, accountabilities, communication plan and project budget.
  • Provide value-added advice and insight on corporate initiatives/projects, the application of RIM policy and best practice to daily operations, with a focus on efficiently managing information risk.
  • Consult with internal clients to determine their objectives and establish the scope of their requirements, engaging other stakeholder groups when required.
  • Act as Team Lead to other senior staff in the department, providing technical direction/guidance and directing on team priorities and tasks.

  • To join our team:

  • You have 5 years of experience managing large-scale RIM projects and implementing IM solutions in the financial services industry.
  • You have a post-secondary degree in Business Management, Information Sciences, or related field.
  • You have a CRM and other IM-related certification ( AIIM CIP, ARMA IGP). Having a CIP, LOMA or equivalent insurance certification, Project Management (PMP) and/or Change Management certification is an asset.
  • You have expert knowledge of physical and electronic RIM principles, practices, and methodologies; ability to apply principles and theory to recommend practical solutions for real-world business challenges.
  • You have Excellent knowledge of Project Management principles and Program delivery.
  • You have a thorough understanding of past, present and future information storage system applications and technologies. Expert knowledge of informational risks in technology environments.
  • You have a solid track record of developing, coordinating and leading initiatives that cross several functional areas and building strong working relationships.
