    Description

    Nous recherchons un superviseur des opérations qui supervisera les opérations, notamment la réception, la préparation des commandes, l'emballage, l'expédition, le découpage des fils, l'assemblage léger, ainsi que l'entretien de l'entrepôt. Vous planifierez, dirigerez et coordonnerez les opérations de stockage et de distribution des produits et des matériaux. Vous gérez également des secteurs désignés de l'exploitation de l'entrepôt, supervisez les secteurs fonctionnels et effectuez les tâches de gestion qui vous sont confiées. En outre, vous serez responsable de l'application cohérente des SOP (Standard Operating Policies) et de l'administration des associés dans l'établissement.

    Responsabilités

  • Veiller au respect des procédures opérationnelles pour la réception, la manutention, le stockage et l'expédition des produits et des matériaux.
  • Veiller à la sécurité de l'environnement de travail pour tous les associés, notamment en examinant les installations pour les réparations et l'entretien, en promouvant et en gérant les programmes de sécurité et en veillant au respect de la politique en matière d'indemnisation des accidents du travail et de responsabilité générale.
  • Examiner les ordres de travail, les rapports de consommation et les prévisions de la demande afin d'estimer les périodes de pointe et d'attribuer les tâches.
  • Superviser les activités des travailleurs chargés de la réception, du stockage et de l'expédition des produits ou des matériaux.
  • Former le personnel afin d'assurer la réalisation des objectifs de performance du service.
  • Gérer et assurer la réalisation des objectifs de performance des domaines fonctionnels qui lui sont assignés.
  • Élaborer et mettre en œuvre des plans de modification ou d'expansion des installations, tels que l'achat d'équipements ou des changements dans l'affectation de l'espace ou la conception structurelle.
  • Programmer la collecte, la livraison ou la distribution de produits ou de matériaux en surface.
  • Préparer ou diriger la préparation de la correspondance, des rapports et des manuels d'exploitation, d'entretien et de sécurité.
  • Ouvrir et fermer le centre de distribution, autoriser les remboursements et traiter les problèmes des clients.
  • Effectuer d'autres tâches qui lui sont confiées.

    • Qualifications

  • Diplôme d'études secondaires ou expérience équivalente requis
  • Baccalauréat en affaires, en gestion ou dans un domaine connexe de préférence
  • Plus de deux ans d'expérience dans les opérations d'entreposage, y compris l'expédition, la réception, l'inventaire et le contrôle de la qualité.
  • Plus de 2 ans d'expérience de supervision dans un centre de distribution, un détaillant à grand volume, un fabricant ou un environnement de production.
  • 1 à 3 ans d'expérience requise, 5 ans de préférence dans la conduite de chariots élévateurs.
  • Expérience confirmée de la gestion d'une équipe d'employés rémunérés à l'heure dans un environnement de production, de distribution, de fabrication, de vente au détail ou dans un environnement similaire, où les activités se déroulent à un rythme soutenu.
  • Expérience de l'encadrement et de l'orientation des employés
  • Très analytique avec la capacité de recueillir des données, d'examiner les données, de gérer par le biais de ces analyses et de communiquer efficacement la traduction commerciale à votre équipe.
  • Compétences démontrées en matière d'organisation et de gestion du temps
  • Compétences démontrées en matière de communication commerciale, à l'oral et à l'écrit, requises
  • Expérience des processus opérationnels et du développement d'équipes de préférence
  • Excellentes compétences et aptitudes en informatique
  • Autonome, motivé et orienté vers les objectifs, avec un fort sentiment d'urgence
  • Excellentes compétences en matière de résolution de problèmes. Capable de disséquer un problème et de présenter une solution réaliste.
  • Connaissance des produits électriques ou de basse tension souhaitée mais non exigée.

    We are looking for a well-rounded Operations Supervisor that will oversee operations including receiving, picking, packing, shipping, wire cutting, light assembly, as well as housekeeping of the warehouse.You will plan, direct, and coordinate the storage and distribution operations of products and materials. You will also manage designated areas of Warehouse Operation, oversee functional areas, and perform manager's duties as assigned. Additionally, you will be responsible for consistent application of SOPs (Standard Operating Policies) and associate administration in the facility.

    Responsibilities

  • Ensures compliance with operating procedures for receiving, handling, storing, and shipping of products and materials
  • Ensures a safe working environment for all associates including surveying facility for repair and maintenance items, promoting and managing safety programs; ensuring policy adherence for worker's compensation and general liability issues
  • Review work orders, consumption reports, and demand forecasts to estimate peak delivery periods and issue work assignments
  • Supervise the activities of workers engaged in receiving, storing, and shipping products or materials
  • Trains staff to ensure attainment of department performance goals
  • Manages and ensures successful achievement of performance goals of assigned functional areas
  • Develop and implement plans for facility modification or expansion, such as equipment purchase or changes in space allocation or structural design
  • Schedule surface pickup, delivery, or distribution of products or materials
  • Prepare or direct preparation of correspondence, reports, and operations maintenance and safety manuals
  • Opens and closes the distribution center, authorizes refunds, and handles customer problems
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

    • Qualifications

  • High School degree or equivalent experience required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, management or related field preferred
  • 2+ years' experience in warehouse operations including shipping, receiving, inventory and quality control.
  • 2+ years' supervisory experience within a distribution center, high-volume retailer, manufacturer, or production environment.
  • 1-3 years required, 5 years preferred of forklift operation
  • Prior demonstrated experience managing a team of hourly associates in a fast-paced production, distribution, manufacturing, retail or similar environment
  • Experience coaching and guiding employees
  • Highly analytical with ability to; gather data, review data, manage through those analytics and effectively communicate the business translation to your team
  • Demonstrated organizational and time management skills
  • Demonstrated business communication skills, verbal and written, required
  • Experience with operational process and team development preferred
  • Excellent computer skills and aptitude
  • Self-directed, motivated and goal oriented with a strong sense of urgency
  • Excellent problem-solving skills. Able to dissect a problem and present realistic solution
  • Knowledge of Electrical or Low Voltage products preferred but not required
