    POSITION OVERVIEW

    The Business Advisor, Knowledge Management plays a vital role in advancing the Knowledge Management function within BDC's Advisory Services team. This position involves developing, implementing, and maintaining KM systems that align with the organization's strategic goals. The ideal candidate is a knowledgeable KM professional with expertise in fostering cultural change and navigating organizational transitions independently.

    CHALLENGES TO BE MET

    • KM Strategy and Framework Development: Assist the Director, CNM/KM in crafting a robust KM strategy and framework that supports knowledge sharing and promotes best practices
    • Knowledge Repository Management: Establish and oversee a centralized knowledge repository to ensure information accessibility and relevance
    • Content Curation and Classification: Curate and classify knowledge content for easy retrieval and application
    • Change Management and Culture Influence: Drive change management efforts to embed KM practices into the organizational culture
    • Collaboration and Integration: Encourage cross-department collaboration for seamless KM integration
    • Training and Development: Design and conduct training sessions on KM tools and resources for enhanced knowledge capabilities
    • Performance and Impact Analysis: Track KPIs for KM initiatives, analyze their impact, and suggest improvements
    • Stakeholder Engagement: Engage with key stakeholders to advocate for KM and ensure alignment with business goals
    • Technology Utilization: Proficiency in Microsoft Stack to enhance knowledge sharing and collaboration

    WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

    • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Information Management, Business Administration, Knowledge Management, or related field
    • 7-10 years of relevant professional experience, with a focus on knowledge management in the last 3 to 5 years
    • Bilingualism with strong oral and written communication skills in English & French
    • Demonstrated success in developing and implementing KM strategies in complex organizational settings
    • Strong understanding of KM principles, methodologies, systems, and best practices
    • Exceptional communication, facilitation, and interpersonal skills with a knack for influencing diverse stakeholders
    • Proven experience in change management and cultural transformation
    • Advanced proficiency in KM software, databases, and Microsoft Office Suite
