    J&L Beef is a division of Sunrise Farms, known for its excellence in chicken processing. Currently, we are looking for a skilled 4th Class Power Engineer to join our Surrey plant.

    Position Summary:

    • Provide expert maintenance support to ensure operational efficiency and compliance with safety regulations
    Responsibilities:
    • Perform daily inspections according to Technical Safety BC guidelines
    • Assist in troubleshooting and repairs to minimize downtime and costs
    • Support production and sanitation activities
    • Respond promptly to breakdown calls
    • Maintain production equipment and ensure safety compliance
    • Communicate effectively with team members and management
    • Report defects and maintain necessary paperwork
    • Ensure a clean and safe work environment
    • Carry out building repairs attentively
    • Comply with food safety regulations
    • Other duties as assigned
    Qualifications Required:
    • High school diploma
    • 4th class power engineering certificate
    • Mechanical aptitude
    • Positive attitude and willingness to learn
    • Overtime availability

    $33.20 an hour

    Afternoon Shift - 3x12hrs (Sunday-Tuesday)
