    Description

    INSIDE /OUTSIDE SALES and Marketing - "Wear Steel" Fabricator

    Reporting to the General Manager this person is expected to generate profitable fabrication opportunities related to the mining and construction industries, prepare fabrication bids and quotations. Some International travel is involved. Specific industry experience not necessary as on the job training will be provided.

    Principle Duties and Responsibilities

    • Develop project leads and opportunities while maintaining customer relationships.
    • Evaluate and prepare job cost bids and quotes
    • Provide analysis of project costs and profitability
    • Work with shop foremen to keep projects within scope, timeline and budget
    • Some international travel to company and customer facilities

    Desired Skills and Experience

    • Outgoing , aggressive, highly motivated to succeed
    • Ability to make cold calls and get to the decision maker
    • Ideally 3-5 years' exposer to the steel industry or related industrial business
    • Mechanical aptitude and some ability to read engineering and fabrication drawings
    • Excel and Word
    • Superior English Language skills both written and oral

    Full time position in Mississauga Ontario, which can lead to increased responsibilities.

    About this Company

    TITUS STEEL began business in 1957 in Toronto Canada supplying Wear Steel Castings to the construction and mining industry. Over the years, a number of exceptional wear and impact resistant products were added including Manganese and Endura wear plate and bars, sourced from specialty steel mills in Europe. Armor plate is sourced from northern Europe and a number of exclusive mold and die steels are sourced from Japan.

    Over the years the company has grown, moving to ever-larger facilities. We have offices and warehouses in Toronto Ontario and Cartersville Georgia.

    We work hard to build lasting relationships with our suppliers and our customers. We are experts in the field of Wear and Impact resistant products. Our solutions and products enable our customers to reduce down time, increase payload and protect their employees. We are driven by quality and innovation solutions.

    This position is a combination of a substantial base salary plus car allowance and a commission structure that can reach the low to mid 6 figures.
