Visiting Assistant Professor, PhilosophyJob Summary:
Muhlenberg College invites applications for a 2-year Visiting Assistant Professor in Philosophy for the 24-25 & 25-26 academic years, to begin in August 2024. AOS: Open. AOC: Philosophy of Mind broadly construed. The department is particularly interested in candidates qualified to teach courses in any of the following: neuroethics, ethics of emerging technologies, artificial intelligence, phenomenology, philosophies of China or India. Ability to contribute to the college's Neuroscience program in other ways or make additional interdisciplinary connections is a plus. The teaching load is 3:3. Successful candidates will demonstrate a commitment to excellence in undergraduate teaching and working with students from all backgrounds. Philosophy ABD or PhD required.
