    Under the guidance of senior technical staff, the Software Engineering Co-op will support the development and implementation of Technical Applications for the operation and planning of the Lightspeed network.

    Assist in the configuration of a developer environment
    Assist in the configuration of build and deployment tools
    Develop software for the planning, operation and capacity management of the Lightspeed LEO satellite network
    Write technical documentation, including software specifications and design documentation
    3rd year Software, Electrical, Communications Engineering or Computer Science, from an accredited Canadian University
    ~ Demonstrated proficiency with an object-oriented programming language
    ~ Written and verbal skills in English

    Java, Python
    Unit tests
    Developer-grade laptop with Windows and WSL2
    Encouraged to take initiatives and recommend course of action to the Software Engineering team.

    This role is a Hybrid position where the resource will be required on-site (standard office environment) 3 days per week.

    The successful candidate must be able to work in Canada and obtain a Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance.
