    STRIVE is a Vancouver based recruitment firm offering recruitment solutions in the specialist areas of Accounting & Finance, Corporate Administration and Operations & Manufacturing.

    STRIVE Recruitment is working with a versatile legal firm which focuses in areas such as commercial litigation, family law, insurance and more.

    Our client is a Canadian based firm and they are looking for a Family law Legal Assistant for their location in Vancouver.

    We are looking for someone who is able to work well by themselves and able to support and help the team when necessary.

    Working with this firm you will receive a competitive salary, with great benefits such as a benefits package which includes a wellness program allowance, health and dental plan, matching RRSP program, and more
    Examining documents and coding them for relevance and privilege;
    More than 5 years of litigation experience, specializing in family law;
    Completion of a post-secondary Legal Administrative Assistant (LAA) and/or paralegal program, or equivalent real-world experience;
    Comprehensive understanding of BC Supreme Court Rules, court procedures, filing deadlines, and familiarity with the Family Law Act;
    Meticulous attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality, accurate work;
    Willingness to work overtime when necessary;
    Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook, as well as experience with DivorceMate software;
