Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Auto Shop Manager to join our team.As the Auto Shop Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our automotive service facility, ensuring efficient and effective delivery of services while maintaining exceptional customer satisfaction.
Responsibilities:
Team Leadership:
Manage and supervise a team of mechanics and support staff, providing guidance, training, and performance evaluations. Foster a positive work environment that promotes teamwork and professional growth.
Operations Management:
Oversee all aspects of the auto shop's operations, including scheduling repairs and maintenance services, managing workflow, and ensuring timely completion of projects.
Customer Service:
Ensure that every customer receives exceptional service by addressing their needs, providing accurate estimates, and resolving any concerns or complaints promptly.
Quality Control:
Maintain high-quality standards in all repair and maintenance work conducted at the shop. Conduct regular inspections and implement procedures to ensure consistent quality.
Inventory Management:
Monitor and manage the inventory of parts, supplies, and equipment, ensuring availability for repairs and maintenance while optimizing costs.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols and compliance with industry standards and regulations. Maintain a safe working environment for employees and customers.
Financial Management:
Oversee financial aspects of the auto shop, including budgeting, cost control, and analyzing financial reports. Identify areas for improvement and implement strategies to increase profitability.
Marketing and Business Development:
Collaborate with the marketing team to promote the auto shop's services, attract new customers, and build strong relationships with existing clients.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as an Auto Shop Manager or in a similar automotive management role.
- Solid knowledge of automotive repair and maintenance procedures.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to resolving customer issues effectively.
- Ability to manage and prioritize multiple tasks in a fastpaced environment.
- Proficient in using computer software and automotive diagnostic tools.
- Understanding of budgeting and financial management principles.
- Adept at fostering a positive work culture and team spirit.
Salary:
$20.00-$45.00 per hour
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
