    DESCRIPTION

    We are currently looking for a self-motivated individual to become an integral part of our team at our kitchener location. If you want to work in a dynamic team environment and you excel when being trusted with responsibility then Westburne is the place for you.

    Responsibilities:

    • Select orders for electrical parts and products, check for accuracy and pack for shipment
    • Process and prepare paperwork for shipping including bills of lading, shipping invoices and freight costs
    • Organize work flow, filing & general bookkeeping
    • Receive and verify accuracy of incoming shipments; correctly enter incoming inventory into the AS400 computer system
    • Process returns following established procedures and re-enter into computerized inventory system
    • Maintain warehouse stock levels
    • Participate in regular cycle counts and annual inventory
    • Maintain a clean and organized work environment
    • Adhere to established Health & Safety procedures and practices
    • Answer telephones and emails from different branches
    • help at the Counter whenever required

    QualificationsExperience:

    • Applicants should also have the following:
    1. Grade 12 education (or equivalent)
    2. Minimum one year of warehouse experience
    3. Excellent communication skills
    4. Good mathematical and data entry skills
    5. Proficiency in computerized environment (AS400 and Windows)
    6. Electrical distribution / product knowledge would be an asset
    7. Ability to meet productivity targets.
