DUTIES/RESPONSIBLITIES include, but not limited to:

Overall responsibility for quality assurance for all products and processes
Responsible for maintaining quality score within the target limit
Manage the Quality team in day to day functions and performance
Be the management representative for the business unit
Maintain the certifications and registrations for all applicable regulatory standards
Implement improvement initiatives to improve quality performance of the business unit
Implement initiatives as required for various regulatory standards, e.g. internal audits, documentation
Manage compliance to the manufacturing quality requirements as directed by the customers
Support customer audits in the business unit
Work with other engineering teams for implementing procedures and processes required by various quality standards
Participate in corporate quality initiatives as driven by the Quality Director
Representative for quality in crossfunctional/crossbusiness unit initiatives
Manage the supplier quality performance

SKILLS REQUIRED:

Complete technical knowledge of the electronic manufacturing processes
Be able to facilitate meetings and provide coaching to the teams
Ability to develop and deliver training materials for Quality Improvement
Knowledge of various quality standards
Skill in data management, analysis and extract meaningful information from data
Strong working knowledge and experience of CAPA, FMEA, FAI,

QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor's degree in Engineering (Electrical, Mechanical or Industrial preferred)
Experience adhering to and developing systems in line with Quality Standards
10+ years of electronics manufacturing experience
Knowledge of databases and good working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Access
Six Sigma qualifications are an asset
