    As a Canadian law firm, we are focused on changing the legal landscape for Canadian lawyers.

    Our lawyers have benefited from the training and experience that "big law" provides and most have spent time in an in-house environment.

    They are self-motivated, use plain language, offer practical business advice and are comfortable working both remotely and on-site when needed.

    5-15 years' experience as a practicing attorney, with 5+ of those years as a matter expert providing legal advice on privacy, security, and data protection regulations, including (but not limited to) HIPAA, GDPR, FTC Section 5, state privacy laws, privacy impact assessments and development of frameworks, data-sharing and development of safeguards, and other related matters.

    ~ Vendor relationship management/contract negotiation on privacy issues relating to third-party data sharing arising from new products and features.
    ~ Substantive data protection and data privacy experience and in-depth knowledge of Canadian, U.Knowledge of standardizing policies, protocols, and training programs, including the associated documents such as vendor and client contracts; Expertise drafting, negotiating and revising privacy and data protection provision of contracts and agreements.
    ~ Admitted and in good standing with a Law Society in Canada.
