    SFMC Associate Engineer III, you will be "in-practice" engineer that would follow the leadership of an Engineer or Sr Engineer but would demonstrate a high level of self-sufficiency in their day-to-day work.

    Responsibilities

  • Development tasks that will fall under 4 North America business units
  • Collaborate with cross functional business teams to develop technical solutions utilizing SFMC tools: Journey Builder, Automation Studio, Content Builder, Audience Builder
  • With the guidance from an Engineer or Sr Engineer, be able to complete the following:
  • Data Development
  • Data modeling (ie creating queries/joining tables with SQL)
  • Creating and managing Automations
  • Creating and managing data extensions
  • Custom Development
  • Managing existing API integration services (ie troubleshoot payloads, test API calls)
  • Edit modules/templates with HTML and AMPscript
  • Declarative (Campaign Operation)
  • Creating and segmenting audiences
  • Building email journeys
  • Platform Support
  • Monitor and resolve failed automations and journeys
  • Seek to understand system metrics and participate in discussions on how to improve DevOps (security, quality, reliability)
  • Be aware of product release and how that impacts our business

    • Additional Skills & Qualifications:

    years of experience as a Salesforce Marketing Cloud Engineer (NOT SF Commerce Cloud) - this person will be using HTML, CSS, JavaScript and AMPscript to build functionality, system integrations and testing of the platform to meet business requirements.

    2.) Experience in supporting delivery of 1+ high-volume email campaigns is preferred (10,000+ lists). The business marketing partners are advanced and quick turnaround on tickets/production issues is imperative.

    3.) Must have 3+ years of experience of day to day programming on an agile tech team and demonstrate their experience security conditions and cloud integrations.

    **This role is hybrid within Vancouver, BC**
