We are currently searching for a Cleaner/General Maintenance to join our team full-time at the Royalty Crossing in Prince Edward Island. If you are a team player with a proven ability to excel in a dynamic, fast-paced environment this may be the opportunity for you.

This position does involve a monthly rotation schedule, as well as an on-call rotation requirement every third weekend.

What you will do:

•Supervision of contract cleaners;

•General maintenance and/or painting;

•Opening & closing duties

•Operate vacuum cleaners to remove dirt and other waste;

•Wash windows and interior walls;

•Clean washrooms;

•Empty trash cans and other waste containers;

•Sweep, mop, scrub hallways, floors, and stairs;

•Maintain cleanliness of common areas;

•Clean vacant units;

•Report deficiencies to Operations Manager for repair;

•Working with the public in a shopping center environment;

•General maintenance and/or painting;

•On – call rotation required every third weekend;

•Monthly rotation schedule;

•Other duties as required.

What you will bring:

•1-3 years of experience in a similar role;

•Strong organizational and time management skills;

•Ability to work as a team, and under minimal supervision;

•Proven communication skills, both written and oral;

•Effective, proven skills and experience;

•General knowledge of carpentry, electrical and plumbing an asset, but not necessary;

•Ability to spend long periods of time walking/standing.
