- Providing advice and support to the business on all aspects of the settlements process, including preparation of Occupation Right Agreements and managing the end-to-end settlements process across a range of villages
- Working on a range of exciting strategic projects at Metlifecare, which may include supporting with care suites, development projects and M&A activities
- Ensuring all sales/resales legal documentation is efficiently prepared and processed on time
- Keeping our data base and other relevant records regularly updated and maintained
- Corresponding and liaising with multiple stakeholders such as sales executives, village managers, resident solicitors and statutory supervisors
- Participating and contributing to the continued improvement of Settlements processes and systems, offering your perspective and enthusiasm and assisting in developing new systems for further efficiencies
- You might be a legal executive looking to transition from a law firm into a business environment, or already established in a corporate environment
- A legal background with previous experience in a similar role such as a legal executive, administrator or legal secretary
- Advantageous if you have good knowledge of retirement village industry together with general legal executive competencies
- A team player who brings a positive attitude and influence in a time of change
- Thrive in a fast-paced environment with the ability to multitask and set priorities to efficiently manage your workload

Description
We are looking for an enthusiastic, team player who is keen to make a difference. Based at our Newmarket Support Office and reporting to the General Counsel & Company Secretary, you will be joining our Settlements team to provide value-adding support to the Company on a broad range of settlements matters. As a key team member, you will work in a dynamic environment on all aspects of settlements, including preparing legal documentation, ensuring the process of sales/resales is seamless for all those involved.
There is plenty of scope to become involved in several projects across the business as we strive to become more efficient and streamline technology, ensuring we continue to provide the best experience for our residents.
