    The Position

    We are seeking an Application Support Specialist to oversee Fundserv's production environment and handle any application-related issues that may arise.

    As an Application Support Specialist, your responsibilities will include:

    • Resolving issues and implementing requests by analyzing, coordinating, and organizing to ensure prompt resolutions and exceptional service delivery.
    • Exercising discretion and judgment in troubleshooting, resolutions, and escalations.
    • Addressing assigned issues promptly and collaborating with other departments when necessary.
    • Adhering to all operational policies and procedures.
    • Providing rotational 24/7 support alongside team members.

    Qualifications we're looking for in the ideal candidate:

    • Proficiency in troubleshooting complex authentication and authorization challenges.
    • Effective communication skills with Developers, utilizing coding samples to clarify API-related issues.
    • Experience in Cloud environments, particularly Azure fundamentals.
    • Ability to offer security recommendations based on industry best practices.
    • Familiarity with Linux/Unix servers and shell scripting.
    • Knowledge of file transfer protocols like FTP, SFTP, FTPS, and MFT.
    • Experience with modern integration technologies such as APIs, REST, and Websphere MQ.
