    Summary: inmotion is a dynamic and innovative marketing agency dedicated to crafting compelling and impactful visual narratives for our clients. We specialize in delivering creative solutions that resonate with target audiences across various industries. We are seeking a talented and creative Graphic Designer to join our team at inmotion.

    In this role, you will play a crucial part in conceptualizing and designing visual assets that effectively communicate our clients' brand messages and captivate their target audiences. The ideal candidate will possess a strong passion for design, exceptional technical skills, and the ability to bring creative ideas to life.

    This position requires working out of our Ottawa, ON office 3 days/week (Monday-Wednesday anchor days).

    Here's what you'll do:

    • Collaborate closely with the creative team, including our art director, writers, project managers and account managers, to develop designs for a wide range of projects, including branding, marketing campaigns, digital experiences, and print collateral.
    • Produce high-quality graphic content, including using industry-standard design software (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite).
    • Work closely with account managers and clients to understand project requirements, objectives, and target audiences, and translate them into visually compelling and effective design solutions.
    • Keep up-to-date with design trends, best practices, and emerging technologies to continually innovate and enhance the quality and impact of our work.
    • Manage multiple projects simultaneously, prioritize tasks effectively, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced agency environment, while maintaining a high level of creativity and attention to detail.
    • Present design concepts, ideas, and rationale to clients and internal stakeholders in a clear and compelling manner, and incorporate feedback to refine and iterate on designs as needed.

    As our next Graphic Designer, you will bring:

    • Degree in graphic design, visual communications, or related field.
    • Minimum 1-2 years of experience in graphic design, preferably in a creative agency or studio environment.
    • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design software.
    • Strong understanding of design principles, typography, color theory, and layout techniques.
    • Excellent creative thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate abstract concepts into visually appealing designs.
    • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment and build rapport with clients and colleagues.
    • Portfolio showcasing a diverse range of design work across different mediums and styles, with a focus on creativity, innovation, and effectiveness.
