Hazardous Materials

The Project Manager will provide project management functions for a select few large Client accounts, participate in business and staff development, including training, coordination, and quality control for junior and intermediate staff in the Hazardous Materials Group.


What you will be doing at Pinchin

  • Prepare proposals for hazardous materials investigations and remediation/abatement work
  • Oversee/perform hazardous materials consulting projects, including assessments, contract preparation and remediation/abatement work
  • Assume financial responsibility for assigned projects
  • Responsible for business development with existing clients
  • Maintaining and enhancing quality control within the group
  • Supervising, training and mentoring Project Technologist in their job function.

What you bring to the Pinchin team

  • Postsecondary education in any of the following: construction technology, architectural technology, occupational health and safety/hygiene, indoor air quality.
years' experience providing hazardous materials consulting and project management for a large national client.

  • Minimum of 35 years' experience as a Project Technologist performing hazardous materials assessments, abatement inspection and air monitoring, preparing asbestos management plans, proposals for consulting services and contract documents.
  • Excellent technical report writing skills ability to write, review, and edit reports and other written communications
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite
  • High attention to detail
  • Professional verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Availability to work outside or core business hours
  • Valid driver's license, insurance and car are required (workrelated travel will be compensated)
