    Description

    Opportunity

    MacEwan University is seeking a Senior Program Manager for a full-time continuing opportunity with the School of Continuing Education.

    Reporting to the Director of Educational Development, the Senior Program Manager is responsible for the leadership, development, management, and implementation of programs within the SCE International area as well as dealing directly with students in person. The Senior Program Manager will provide direction and coaching to instructors and staff in the Executive Professional Development and Study Tour program areas relating to program planning, budgeting, program and course development, marketing and communications, contracts, and admission requirements/student assessments.

    Interviews for this position will be conducted in-person.

  • Experience working with international stakeholders.
  • Planning and supervision experience.

  • Strong computer skills.
  • Working knowledge of registration systems.
  • A commitment to excellence in program development, management, and supervision.

    • Qualifications

  • Minimum of an undergraduate degree in adult education or business.
  • Additional coursework or certification in program management, budgeting, distance education and/or marketing and supervision.
  • RISIA certification would be considered an asset.
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

    • Position Requirements

  • Some travel required.
  • Some evening and weekend work required.
