Job Description

Position Overview

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Electrical or Instrumentation Technician with a strong background in maintenance and construction. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the reliability and functionality of our electrical and instrumentation systems, and will contribute to the construction and installation of new systems as needed.

Key Responsibilities

Perform routine maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair of electrical and instrumentation systems.
Conduct preventive maintenance activities to minimize downtime and ensure optimal performance.
Assist in the construction, installation, and commissioning of new electrical and instrumentation systems.
Read and interpret electrical and instrumentation drawings, schematics, and diagrams.
Collaborate with other team members to identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives.
Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe working environment.

Expectations

Operating a company vehicle offroad on rugged terrain in changing conditions
Good knowledge of process systems in regards to conventional oil & gas
Working in a strong team work environment
Physical demands include: lifting and moving material and equipment weighing up to 50lbs and regular exposure to oil and gas well site or plant environments
Travels to and from work sites, travel is required, hotel or camp work is required

Qualifications

Qualifications / Experience

High school diploma or equivalent; technical diploma or certification in electrical/instrumentation preferred.
Minimum of 4 years of experience as an electrician/instrumentation technician in an industrial or construction setting.
Strong knowledge of electrical systems, instrumentation principles, and industrial controls.
Proficiency in troubleshooting electrical and instrumentation issues.
Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Commitment to safety and adherence to safety protocols at all times.
All safety tickets (H2S, First Aid, CSO, etc.)
Valid driver's license

Additional Information

Please note that travel out of town and camp work is required.
