Summary:


We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our team on a part-time basis (1-2 days/week) based on the Company's needs.

The primary responsibility will be to review, analyze, and advise on a variety of contracts including vendor, supplier, and customer agreements, as well as service and website terms and agreements.


Key Responsibilities:


  • Creating and maintaining a comprehensive master list of contracts and agreements, inclusive of renewal dates, termination clauses, and other pertinent information.
  • Establish a process to review and renew legal agreements in advance of expiry terms
  • Reviewing vendor, supplier, and customer contracts to ensure compliance with legal requirements and company policies.
  • Analyzing and identifying potential risks and liabilities in contracts and providing recommendations for mitigation.
  • Working with internal stakeholders, assisting in the drafting, editing, and negotiation of contract terms as needed
  • Conducting legal research to support contract review and analysis, including but not limited to geographical requirements
  • Reviewing and advising on service agreements, website terms, terms & conditions for consumer marketing contests, policies and related documentation.

Qualifications & Skills:


  • Paralegal Certification or relevant legal education
  • 5+ years' experience as a paralegal or in a similar role, preferably with contract review experience
  • Strong understanding of contract law and familiarity with various types of business contracts
  • Familiarity with technology services, vendor management, and/or ecommerce contracts
  • Working knowledge of legal terminology and legal writing
  • Proficiency in legal research and document review
  • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Ability to work independently and efficiently on an adhoc or parttime basis
  • Proficient in the use of contract management and review software
  • Good communication skills to interact with crossfunctional teams
