NewLife Options Inc. is looking for a qualified detail-oriented Payroll Clerk to join our Accounting team in Brandon, MB.If you have a solid understanding of accounting fundamentals and best payroll practices, experience with payroll and benefits and are dedicated to maintaining confidentiality and accuracy, this role is for you.
Process the bi-weekly payroll in a timely and efficient manner.Maintain payroll records and files, ensuring compliance of all employee payroll documents.
Comprehend and apply Employment Standards as they relate to payroll.
experience in payroll processing.
~ Business Administration Diploma.
~ Payroll Compliance Practitioner designation is an asset.
~ Proficient in using payroll software systems such as Quickbooks and Payworks (not a requirement, but an asset).
~ Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
~ Advanced Microsoft Office skills (particularly Excel).
Schedule:
Monday to Friday, 8:00 am to 4:00 pm with a half hour lunch break
Brandon, MB (in office)
