    Territory Manager - Regina, Canada - Brandt

    Description

    Brandt is currently seeking at Territory Manager - OEM for our Regina, Saskatchewan location.

    This position, focused on the Canadian OEM market, with a primary target area of Saskatchewan, and secondary area including Alberta and Manitoba steel industry, requires a candidate with a solid technical sales background and a demonstrated capability of establishing and growing customer relationships. Key objectives for this role are to maximize sales, market share and profitability in the designated geographic region, and maintain and grow the existing customer base.

    Duties & Responsibilities

  • Establish and manage customer relationships
  • Responsible for the commercial interface with customers
  • Development and maintenance of sales action plans and customer contact schedules
  • Prepare and maintain customer activity reports, including closing, follow-up and prospects
  • Establish sales and gross margin targets with the VP or Sales Director
  • Work collaboratively with the Operations Manager to develop the business strategy for the territory
  • Study competition to understand their weaknesses, shop capabilities, deliveries, etc.
  • Prepare technical and commercial presentations to present to customers
  • Coordinate with Brandt Application Engineers and the Engineering, Estimating and Manufacturing teams to prepare proposals and follow-up on open quotations
  • Identify and resolve customer concerns with the support of the OEM team
  • Represent Brandt at industry trade shows and conventions
  • Other projects and assignments as required
  • Required travel for this position can be up to 75% of the work schedule

    Required Skills
  • Sales/business experience is required, with strong customer service skills
  • Previous experience in the OEM Services industry is an asset
  • Industrial knowledge considered an asset
  • Aggressive team player, self-starter and goal oriented
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Strong work ethic and organizational skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office suite – Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, etc.
  • A valid passport and driver's license are required

  • Development of relationships with key target customers (management, operations and engineering teams)
  • Sales/business experience is required, with strong customer service skills
  • Previous experience in the OEM Services industry is an asset
