    DESCRIPTION
    As the Corporate Director, of Engineering & Projects, you will:

    • Serve as the lead Director of Engineering and Project Management across our properties, providing guidance and support to maintenance managers, Chief Engineers, and General Managers.
    • Act as a mentor and leader to Property Engineering Managers and projects team, ensuring high standards of property maintenance knowledge.
    • Oversee the maintenance of multiple buildings, grounds, and physical plants, prioritizing safety, security, and asset protection.
    • Manage budgets, capital expenditure projects, preventative maintenance, and energy conservation initiatives to maximize financial performance.
    • Develop and implement strategies to meet or exceed guest and employee expectations while adhering to standards and regulatory requirements.
    • Participate in emergency response teams for facility issues.

    Managing Engineering Operations and Budgets:

    • Oversee physical plant operations, including equipment, HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, in compliance with local codes and regulations.
    • Administer service contracts and oversee training of engineering teams.
    • Implement strategies for managing and controlling expenses, including preventative maintenance plans.
    • Utilize CMMS Program to communicate departmental goals effectively.

    Project Planning and Execution:

    • Lead multiple projects from initiation to closure, including renovations, upgrades, and new installations.
    • Collaborate with crossfunctional teams to define project scopes, objectives, and timelines.
    • Manage procurement processes, contract negotiations, and vendor relationships.
    • Monitor project progress, identify risks, and implement mitigation strategies.

    Maintaining Engineering Standards:

    • Ensure compliance with regulations and maintain life safety systems.
    • Review and update building and equipment certifications.
    • Manage profitability, including budget development and expense management.

    REQUIREMENTS

    • 6 years' experience in senior management or a 2year degree with 4 years' experience in engineering and maintenance.
    • CFM, PMP Certificates preferred.
    • Strong knowledge of maintenance best practices, building systems, and regulatory requirements.
    • Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
    • Proficiency in problemsolving, analytical thinking, and decisionmaking.
    • Ability to work independently and in a team, with flexibility and willingness to travel and respond to emergencies.
