    Our client is searching for a Senior Accountant to join their team. This role will be responsible for the financial and operational reporting of the company. A successful candidate will deploy the financial strategy, and metrics to reflect that strategy. This role reports directly to the Controller.

    Your Success Will Be Defined By Your Ability To
    • Assist in accounting and budgeting for initiatives and monitoring activity
    • Manage the capital request and budgeting processes, including reporting on actuals and variance analysis
    • Develop performance measures that support the company's strategic direction
    • Support operational growth with analysis and metrics to ensure targets are met, including assistance in ad hoc inquiries and projects and calculation of commissions
    • Assist the administrative departments with holiday coverage and as an escalation point of contact
    • Manage the operating cash flow and all aspects of accounts payable, accounts receivable, and other incoming/outgoing cash functions
    • Oversee the issuance of financial information, including consolidated financial statements for three divisions
    • Responsible for variance analysis and corrective action, including collaboration with departments and external parties
    • Work with all departments to understand financial metrics, budgets and reporting
    • Prepare working papers on a quarterly basis
    • Maintain complex deferred revenue and prepaid schedules monthly
    • Oversee preparation of year-end in conjunction with other accountants
    • Work closely with other departments to clearly understand needs and recommend or report on the direction.
    • Be an active member in executing and recommending the company culture strategy
    • Engage with marketing and corporate social media to ensure branding guidelines are adhered to and campaign initiatives are recognized
    • Maintain a close working relationship with the delivery team to ensure exceptional customer success
    Your strengths include:
    • Degree or Diploma in Accounting or Business Administration
    • 3+ years of progressively responsible experience
    • Advanced Excel skills are required
    • High level of attention to detail
    • Willingness to assist in all functions
