We are known for the great care we take with clients and employees alike.Maintain inventory control, lead inventory counts and guide Inventory Analyst in analyzing and seeking explanation of inventory variances for finished goods, WIP, protein and dry goods inventories
Review and analyze plant performance and collaborate with operations teams to establish appropriate corrective actions
Prepare annual budget and analyze performance against budget
Ensure month end tasks are performed on a timely basis and in collaboration with the accounting team at the corporate head office
Work with Senior planner and sales to prepare semi-annual analysis to update min/max & EBQ
Prepare capital expenditure financial justification to support new assets purchases, and provide financial input to post-implementation review of capital expenditures
Maintain internal controls for the safeguarding of company property and other areas as needed
Ensure plant compliance with company-wide administrative policies and procedures in the areas of purchasing, fixed assets, inventory, billing and other areas as required
Support corporate initiatives for value-added management reporting and analysis to support operations decision-making
Participate in local and company-wide process improvement initiatives
Intermediate computer skills including Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Teams
~ Business Intelligence software experience is considered an asset
