- Assisting in the onboarding of new investments, coordinating with internal teams and following established compliance procedures
- Supporting the maintenance and development of project finance or infrastructure financial models under the guidance of senior team members
- Preparing and updating investment performance materials, including quarterly reports and annual reviews
- Assisting in the review and validation of funding requests and helping to coordinate fund flows between the CIB and counterparties (e.g., construction draws, interest payments, repayments)
- Monitoring investment performance metrics such as cash flow forecasts, covenant compliance, and key performance indicators (KPIs)
- Supporting data validation and maintenance to ensure accuracy and integrity across CIB's asset management systems and reports
- Contributing to the preparation of presentations and analysis for senior management and internal stakeholders
- Assisting with system implementations, process improvements, and other initiatives that enhance the CIB's asset management capabilities
- Collaborating with Finance, Risk and other internal teams on periodic reporting and portfolio monitoring activities
- 1 to 3years of relevant experience in project finance, infrastructure, corporate finance, investment banking or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Engineering, Accounting or a related discipline (Master's degree considered an asset)
- CPA or CFA designation (in progress or interest in pursuing) is an asset
- Strong analytical and quantitative skills, with proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint
- Competence and experience in financial modelling is considered a strong asset; willingness to develop advanced modelling skills required
- Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated teamwork, collaboration and problem-solving abilities
- Familiarity with BI tools (e.g., Power BI) and data management concepts is an asset
- Bilingualism (French and English) is an asset

Description
Headquartered in Toronto, the Canada Infrastructure Bank (CIB) is responsible for investing in new infrastructure projects. The CIB's mission is to work with provincial, territorial, municipal, federal, Indigenous and private sector investor partners to transform the way infrastructure is planned, financed and delivered in Canada.
The Analyst, Asset Management will be based in Toronto and report directly to a Manager or Senior Manager, Asset Management. The Analyst will support a range of asset management activities to preserve value and mitigate risk throughout the investment lifecycle. This includes assisting in post-financial close activities, monitoring asset performance, maintaining financial models, supporting internal and external reporting, and ensuring data accuracy across the CIB's investment portfolio.
This role is ideal for an early-career professional who is eager to build expertise in project finance and infrastructure asset management while working in a collaborative and dynamic environment.
