    Process Improvement Leader

    Location: Ontario, Canada

    Empire Life is seeking a Process Improvement Leader to join their team in Ontario. They are specifically looking for individuals to support their IT and Corporate Finance departments. However, they are open to general applications for potential future opportunities.

    Key Responsibilities:

    • Lead process improvement projects to drive significant improvements in key business metrics
    • Assist in developing management systems including process controls, metrics, training, etc.
    • Provide formal and informal training to business teams and new Process Improvement Leaders on process improvement methodologies
    • Manage projects effectively by developing and executing plans, managing resources, and ensuring timely completion within budget
    • Promote innovation by implementing programs that foster creative thinking and support the introduction of new ideas and processes
    • Build strong relationships with colleagues from different departments to enhance cross-departmental collaboration and initiatives

    Requirements:

    • Degree in a relevant field such as Engineering, Science, Computer Science, Business, Economics, etc.
    • Skills in areas like Data Science, Process Design, Digital Development, Project Management, Business Analytics, Finance, or related fields
    • Fast learner with strong critical thinking skills
    • Excellent communication skills
    • Technical expertise suitable for the role or willingness to learn quickly
    • Demonstrated leadership abilities
    • Proactive mindset and ability to take ownership of challenges
    • Language proficiency in English for roles open to candidates across Canada
