    We have a great opportunity to join our Global Corporate and Specialty (GCS) - Corporate Risk team for an Underwriting Specialist (Commercial Automobile).


    You will be responsible to assess and evaluate more complex commercial auto risks and apply effective pricing, underwriting and marketing of business.

    As well, be responsible for providing technical training and quality control in the form of mentoring when and where required.

    Responsible for assessing and evaluating complex Transportation & Corporate Fleet risks. Responsible for the management of high-profile risk managed corporate accounts.


    Ability to effectively analyze loss experience and develop a risk management program with our risk consultants which will mitigate/prevent losses.

    Responsible for providing some technical training and quality control in the form of mentoring.

    Provide some technical advice and coaching to other underwriting staff involved in this line of business.

    University degree and CIP and CRM is preferred.

    Minimum 7 years of underwriting experience, in the Commercial Auto space.

    Experience with writing complex risk-managed accounts an asset.

    Strong marketing & relationship building skills.
